TMD Championship is an official international dance competition system governed by the TMD World Dance Federation (TWDF).
The federation serves as the highest authority of the TMD competition structure, setting official rules, qualification systems, and championship titles at national, European, and world levels.
TMD Championship connects hundreds of dancers across Europe through a unified, transparent, and qualification-based competition system.
Our Story
The roots of TMD go back to 2012, when TMD Cup was founded in Pardubice, Czech Republic as a small local dance event.
Since 2017, the competition has been based in Hradec Králové, where it steadily grew in scale and reputation.
In 2025, the project evolved into a qualification-based competition under the name TMD Championship, expanding internationally for the first time to Slovakia.
In 2026, TMD Championship became a fully international competition system, with qualification rounds held in:
Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Germany.
That same year, under the authority of TMD World Dance Federation, TMD Championship will host the European Championship 2026 in Brno, Czech Republic.
