It's a space for growth, respect, and the joy of dance.
🇬🇧 We are the team behind TMD CHAMPIONSHIP.
Dance has been part of our lives since childhood – and today, thanks to this competition, it connects hundreds of dancers across Europe.
TMD Cup was founded in 2012 in Pardubice, Czech Republic as a small local event. Since 2017, it has been based in Hradec Králové and has grown into a respected dance project. In 2025, it became a qualification-based competition under the name TMD Championship, expanding to Slovakia for the first time.
In 2026, it became fully international – with qualification rounds held in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, and Germany. And in 2026, we will be organizing the European Championship in Brno, Czech Republic.
TMD stands for: Tanec (Dance), Motivace (Motivation), Dovednost (Skill).
Three words that define the essence of our competition. We believe in passion for dance, the power of motivation, and the skills that shape great dancers and strong characters.
🇨🇿 Jsme tým, který stojí za soutěží TMD CHAMPIONSHIP.
Tanec je součástí našeho života už od dětství – a dnes spojuje stovky tanečníků napříč Evropou právě díky této soutěži.
TMD Cup vznikla v roce 2012 v Pardubicích jako menší pohárová soutěž. Od roku 2017 se koná v Hradci Králové a postupně rostla, až se v roce 2025 stala soutěží postupovou pod jménem TMD Championship. V témže roce jsme ji poprvé rozšířili i na Slovensko.
V roce 2026 překročila hranice a stala se plně mezinárodní – s kvalifikačními koly v Česku, Slovensku, Polsku, Maďarsku, Rakousku a Německu.
A právě v roce 2026 budeme pořádat Mistrovství Evropy v Brně.

Is the founder of the competition. He has been dancing since childhood and has worked in the dance world for decades as a teacher, choreographer, and organizer. He believes a dance competition should be more than just scores – it should be an experience and a challenge.
